Saints In The Stadium – A Great Success

Saints In The Stadium – A Great Success 16th December 2013

Lockie Limited were proud sponsors of the 2013 National Day Of Prayer and Worship, which was held just 5 miles down the road from our factory, at St Helens’ Langtree Park stadium.

Pastor Philip Fell is a Senior Leader at the St Helens Christian Life Centre and Co-Chaired the Steering Group who organised the event. He said the day was a great success.

“Whilst the number of attendees was not as high as we anticipated, we were encouraged by the sense of unity and the reports of people being stirred to believe that God wants to touch our nation again.”

“We have had numerous reports of churches and individuals being encouraged, fired up, stirred to pray and to engage in further mission in partnership with others. There are also some reports of attendees saying that “If St Helens can do it, we could do it too.”

Speaking to Lockie Limited after October’s event, Philip explained what the NDOPW are aiming to achieve with their ‘Joining the Dots’ campaign.

The campaign has seen numerous events such as Saints in the Stadium taking place all over the country each year, bringing thousands of Christians together for a day of prayer, music and special sermons.

“Join the Dots is seeking to mobilise prayer for the nation right across the UK. Saints in the Stadium was a catalyst to encourage others to get involved and “do it again”.
